Mediation Process
As an independent mediator, I aim to make the process of resolving disputes simple, transparent, and efficient. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to begin and what to expect throughout the mediation journey.

Step 1: Register the Matter
To start the process, both parties’ details must be submitted via the online form.
Please ensure that you include the names of the actual parties involved, not their legal representatives.
Once your matter is submitted, a once-off administrative fee of R1,000.00 (excluding VAT) will be invoiced. This fee covers the setup, coordination, and communication for your mediation process.

Step 2: Share Case Information
After registration, both parties will receive an email requesting additional information about the dispute.
Provide as much detail as you can — any missing information can be added later in the process.
If both parties agree to proceed, I will serve as your appointed mediator, ensuring an impartial, confidential, and constructive environment for discussion.

Step 3: Agreement to Mediate
Once both parties have submitted their information and signed the Agreement to Mediate, I will contact you directly to schedule the first session.
All invoicing and coordination will be managed efficiently to prevent delays in beginning your mediation.

Step 4: Mediation Sessions
During mediation, I will guide both parties through a structured conversation designed to:
Clarify the key issues
Encourage open and respectful dialogue
Explore options for resolution
Work towards a mutually acceptable agreement
The number of sessions may vary depending on the complexity of the matter.

Step 5: Closure and Feedback
At the conclusion of the mediation — whether the outcome is fully, partially, or not resolved — both parties will be invited to complete a short feedback form.
Your feedback helps ensure that the mediation process remains fair, effective, and of the highest standard.

Important Information
Please note that as an independent mediator, I am not responsible for following up with non-responsive parties. Once your matter has been submitted, I will contact both sides to guide the process and schedule the first meeting.
Each matter submitted will incur a once-off administrative fee of R1,000.00 (excluding VAT), which must be settled within three working days of the invoice being issued to the initiating party.
